Needed a gray or silver rug for under our king-size bed, which meant only about 40% of it would be showing at most. So I didn't want to spend a lot, but I didn't want just a low shag in a solid color. This rug just arrived, and I was nervous looking at the packaging b/c the backside that was showing had lots of blues and browns in it- I thought they'd shipped the wrong one! Upon opening it I found a really fantastic rug for the price. The quality is much better than expected; The weave is tight enough to look pricier than it was, and it's comfortable underfoot. All the bound edges are intact and look like they'll stay that way in the light traffic area we bought this for. THere's a VERY mild factory smell when you put your nose to it that I expect will dissipate quickly enough. The rug is as billed at 7'10" x 10'6". But the thing I am most pleased about is the color: a very attractive medium gray background/body with a lighter gray/basically silver "design". Both lighten/darken depending on which way you rub your hand on it - very nice. PLease note that the "design" part is sort of mottled/marbled with some of the darker threads from the body of the rug - by design - that is in keeping with the textured look. Attractive to me, but you may feel differently. Can't wait to install it after getting a pad. Will post pics and an opinion update. It went across the living room and I still need to unroll it more under the couch. So glad I ordered. It even came faster than it was supposed to!Looks more blue then gray. Quality is excellant and came in that week. Going to move it around the house until it finds its perfect spot. Do love but 4 stars for the color.This rug is exactly was I was looking for. I needed something on the solid side but solid is so boring and I thought this would be perfect! Love it in my space! It vacuums nicely and is superior quality to others I've purchased in the same price range. Extremely happy with this purchase!This is a really lovely rug for the price.
