I almost returned this because I bought it to block the glare from the sun and while it seems to help some it doesn't completely remedy the issue... haven't had enough sunny drives to fully factor that part, but I have seen the reflection of the carpet in the windshield instead of the dash as I used to, which is a bummer...yet I think the carpet is slightly more transparent than the dash was...It fits the dashboard but not ideally, I have mine just loosely on with three small pieces of the tape. I wasn't thrilled about applying the velcro to the dash and it would take another person and an hour of frustration to attempt to get it on the dash perfectly, which may not be exactly possible as it's not seeming to lay perfectly, though it's clearly the correct one and molded after my dash shape. I thought with time and laying in the sun and such it might rest a little more accurately, but so far no change. I think of it kind of as a dust trap...but figure I can vacuum it like the rest of the upholstery.I guess I'm underwhelmed. I feel like an old fogey with my safety inspired dash carpet..but I had good intentions.... now to order my special glare reducing sunglasses instead, ha ha.
