I Store the first one I bought in the backyard shack never use for a year. When time to use it, it fell apart.I thing the high temperature in the summer damaged it.I bought these brushes to spot clean a dirty carpet . I had planned to modify the brush to fit a car polisher with a 5/8 x 11 thread. I was pleasantly surprised to find that with a little effort, I could screw the brush on the polisher without modification. I have been using the brush on the polisher to deep clean the carpet in some spots before using a rental carpet cleaning machine.
